LG officially announced the presence of its KC550, which is a 5-megapixel slider that will come at an affordable price. Its Schneider-Kreuznach autofocus lens are protected by a sliding cover and so is the flash, which unfortunately is LED instead of Xenon (as with the Viewty).
The device look nothing out of the ordinary, as it resembles most of the LG handsets appeared in the KF series, but without having their highly fashionable aspect. Being a slider phone, KC550 unveils an alphanumeric keypad when opened, which, added to its 5-way navigation d-pad, should offer an easy way of controlling its functions.
