very hard lump underneath my skin at the base of my index finger.

| I m not really sure if its on the bone or not, but, I have a very hard lump underneath my skin at the base of my index finger. It may be between the bones now that I think about it. It hurts terribly when I mess with it, only a dull pain when I dont. And dont say Stop messing with it!!!. I already got that diagnosis from my wife!!! |

| I have the same bump just noticed a couple days ago i did catch my hand on something about a month ago. My knuckle turned purple than went away. Couple weeks later this appeared when i push on it or try to move it around it hurts around the base of my finger. Not really sure what it is. Feels like a ball bearing underneath my skin connected to the bone. |
