I had PVP outpatient surgery 10 days ago. I had it at 7 am in the morning and was home by 10:30 am the same. They put a catheter in which was to be removed in 24 hours. That was the biggest hassle. I had a burning sensation urinating for about two days afterwards. I have been drinking way more fluids then normally since operation. After the surgery I relaxed for 4 days (included day of surgery) and went to work for 5 days straight. The first time I urinated after the surgery was an adventure. I have been urinating frequently since the operational though less then prior) about ten times a day. Prior to the operation I couldn't sleep more then 4 hours without getting up, right now I am at 6 +. I still have blood in my urine, most of the times if I strain at the end. The doctor said to expect this for 2-3 weeks. I am 54 and have had bph symptoms since early 40's that have worsened. Weak stream is gone right now. I will post in a few weeks if anyone is interested. |

As an animal healer, I would if the cats condition was not improving with vets treatment or change of diet. Then try a complementary therapy which can usually be given along side the vets treatment. |

Hello. First, I totally don’t approve the fact that you still didn’t contact your doctor because that would definitely be a smart thing to do. Anyway, your friend has told you the truth. Abnormal discharge from penis not only that could be a sigh of prostatitis- acute inflammation of prostate but a sign of many diseases such as infections of head of the penis called balanitis, urethra-urethritis, epididymis-epididymitis, or any other urinary infection. You didn’t mention any details about the type of discharge you’ve noticed and this could be important. Bloody discharge could be a sign of a broken blood vessel in the seminal vesicle, testicular or prostate cancer! |

It is possible but very unlikely that hydroceles would be the cause of painful ejaculations. I think that you should have more thorough examination. You should first have yourself checked for infection – both the testicles and a prostate. Then, urethral strictures or polyps can also cause these symptoms – have this checked out too. To put it in plain words, you should visit very good urologist for a very thorough examination |

I think it's time to visit your physician and/or endocrinologist to see what is going on. You should have started puberty by now so there must be some hormonal imbalance that can be corrected with medication. |

Hi, I also had sperm motility problem and was advised by nutrition specialist to take supplements of carnitine. Studies showed that carnitine levels are lower in the semen of men with low motility. Proxeed is another supplement I was referred to, which can attribute to energy released by sperm movements, and effect fertility in that way. Proxeed already contains L-carnitine. These supplements have a combination of these two proteins, may improve sperm motility shown to be efficient in many cases. You have to be persistent and should take it for at least 3 month; usually it is taken as long as you are trying to conceive. This could enable you to conceive either naturally or with insemination, rather than IVF. |

Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin condition, and there are five types, which you might find confusing. Each type of psoriasis is with unique signs and symptoms, that is why not every people have exactly the same symptoms. Plaque psoriasis is the most common type of psoriasis, and about 80% of people who develop psoriasis have this type. This one appears as patches of raised, reddish skin covered by silvery-white scale. These patches, or plaques, frequently form on the elbows, knees, lower back, and sometimes scalp. However, in this psoriasis type, the plaques can occur anywhere on the body. The other types are guttate psoriasis, marked with small, red spots on the skin. Pustular psoriasis has white pustules surrounded by red skin, etc. There are so many different types so you should not be confused if someone has the same diagnosis and different symptoms. Psoriasis is a chronic, meaning lifelong, condition because there is currently no cure and it requires lifelong therapy, which is sometimes problem with this disorder. |

Yes, inter-sex people are those whose genitals differ from masculine or feminine stereotypes, without such variance in genital appearance meaning an inherit deformation or pathology. Girls born with clitoris that are larger than the feminine genital stereotype are turn into boys as well as boys whose penises are smaller than the masculine genital stereotype, because their bodies contradict stereotypes about masculine genitalia. I am not sure how to accept this fact and if the damage is caused or not. But the mutilating surgeries are performed with these people. These surgeries are aimed to transforming intersex bodies into culturally acceptable ones. However, they violate our autonomy of decision as well as our bodily integrity.

Meniere’s disease is one of the most common causes of dizziness originating in the inner ear. In the most cases only one ear is involved but also both ears may be affected in about 15 % of patients. That is normal and you shouldn’t be worried because of that. This disease typically starts between the ages of 20 and 50 years. Men and women are affected in equal numbers, that’s what studies shown. Symptoms of Meniere’s disease are episodic rotational vertigo, or attacks of a spinning sensation. Also and hair loss, tinnitus, or roaring, buzzing, or ringing sound in the ear occur with this disease. Tinnitus and fullness of the ear can come and go with changes in hearing. It might occur during or just before attacks, or be constant. There is also possible an intermittent hearing loss early in disease. It happens especially in the low pitches, but a fixed hearing loss involving tones of all pitches commonly develops in time. Of all symptoms of Meniere’s disease vertigo is usually the most troublesome. |
